This dataset provides references for 99 recidivism studies conducted between 1995-2009 in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The studies have been produced by a variety of agencies, including departments of corrections, sentencing commissions, statistical analysis centers, and universities. The analyses addresses a broad variety of issues, including juvenile/adult status, gender, race, type of offense, type of program intervention, and many others. Because of this diversity, measurements of recidivism rates are not necessarily comparable across jurisdictions, but overall the studies provide insight into the variety of factors that affect recidivism for people sentenced to incarceration or community supervision.

This data set contains local police department purchases of surplus military equipment from the Pentagons 1033 program. The 1033 program allows police to acquire surplus military equipment at no direct cost to use in counter-drug and counter-terrorism activities. Available equipment includes general law enforcement supplies (e.g., handcuffs, riot shields, holsters, binoculars, and digital cameras), and general office materials (e.g., office furniture, kitchen appliances, exercise equipment) as well as specialized military equipment including armored vehicles, aircraft, and weapons.

This data set contains South Jordan Police calls for service and crime data from 2014-2018

The data set is a compilation of crime data reported by local law
enforcement agencies throughout the state. The data is reported under the guidelines of the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program, a
national program which uses generic crime definitions to ensure that crime data is
comparable across political boundaries. BCI forwards data collected from Utah law
enforcement agencies to the FBI, who in turn combines it with data from other states to compile and publish an annual report called Crime in the United States.
